Pane Fratau

IT, savoury, cooked, vegetarian


  • 4 sheets of "pane carasau" (wafer thin, dry bread, similar to filo pastry)
  • Casizolu cheese or similar
  • 4 eggs
  • vinegar
  • fresh tomato sauce
  • salt

Briefly dip the "pane carasau" in salted, boiling water, remove, wiring out the excess water and place on four plates.

Spread with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with the grated Casizolu cheese. Pouch the eggs in boiling water with a little vinegar for about 5 minutes.

Then remove with a slotted spoon, taking care not to break them, and place them in the plates on the top of the bread mixture.
