Dough

  • 300 g rye flour
  • 80 g butter
  • 180 ml water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • pinch salt

Mashed Carrots Filling

  • 500 g carrots
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp honey

Mashed Potato Filling

  • 2 potatoes
  • 80 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp butter

Boil the potatoes and carrots (separately).

Mix the flour with butter, water, sugar and salt. Knead for about 5 minutes.

Blend the boiled carrots with the egg, sour cream and honey.

Mash the boiled potatoes with milk and butter.

Roll out the dough about 5mm thick; cut out small rounds; form a stand-up edge.

Note: Placing them in a silicone muffintray works very well.

Fill in 1 spoon of the mashed potatoes and 2 spoonfuls of the carrots.

Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C.
