Stewed Peaches
It is great as a base for shortcakes, cobbler, crisp or as a topping for ice-cream, pancakes, waffles
US, sweet, cooked, vegan
- 8 - 10 cups fresh peaches (peeled, sliced)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup corn starch
Combine all ingredients over medium high heat. Simmer and stir. Once sauce thickens to your likeness, remove from heat and let cool.
